I bought two BoxWave EverTouch capacitive pens (blue and silver). I like them but I think for the price you should get more than one. Even if the rubber-tipped pen isn't the right one, you can still get 10 or 12 for $5 or less, so you can use them in many places. I'm not saying I don't like the Boxwave Ever Touch, they're just overpriced.

I ordered this product for my Windows Surface RT and it works great. The Surface was able to detect the pen with greater accuracy than the rubber-tipped pen. My friend originally recommended this product to me, saying the tip wouldn't break and that he's been using it on his Lenovo Yoga for months with no problems.

I recently installed a Moshi iVisor screen protector on my iPad and it was causing an issue with my rubberized pens requiring more writing pressure and also having a noticeable squeak. it only makes a very subtle rustling, which is actually quite pleasant to hear when typing.
