I don't know if it would hold up better on someone with smaller legs but it had a tendency to slip off my daughter's leg (a slightly overweight girl). We had to switch to an orthotic with straps to better stay in place. When not sliding down, the brace appeared to support her kneecap, which loves to pop out of place.

First. This knee pad is hot as hell. When I took it off I had a huge black mark on my leg that wouldn't come off. I've used alcohol and acetone and it's still there. This is the information on the label printed inside. I was hoping to wear it to a pool party tomorrow to stabilize my knee after knee replacement surgery. I will never wear this again.

I have a very painful knee and my water aerobics bothered me and limited my abilities. Wearing it in the pool really helps a lot. This is an indoor saltwater pool and I use it about 3-4 times a week and it's holding up well. I'll just hang it up to dry when I get home. Dries relatively quickly. I am very satisfied with this product. I went to the sizing chart to order and it fit as intended.

I thought this brace would fit me perfectly as I have very large hips. I measured according to the instructions provided and ordered a 2XL but it seems to have been largely unsupported. I also didn't like the hole in the back as I think that was the reason for the lack of support. The bracket did not stay in place. Besides that, maybe this brace is too big and a smaller size would fit better. I'm not sure. If I order again I will not order the one with a hole in the back.
