🌙 Double-Layer Satin Sleep Cap for Long Hair, Braids, Dreadlocks, and Curly Hair by Awefeel Review

I recently got pigtails (26 inch long pigtails) and I needed something that could go with all my pigtails at night while I slept without banging the pigtails or causing discomfort. This cap is perfect. Not only does it hold up all those braids, but it's also comfortable and doesn't slip off at night. The bandage around my head is the most comfortable headscarf/hat I've ever had.

I have 18 inch faux curls and needed something that would sit comfortably in my hair and sleep well in. I used to wear a big hood, but I realized I needed something better. I bought a long hat and I really like it! He stayed all night and lay down! I adjusted all my hair and let it hang loose instead of curling like a big hat. I will buy another one! Worth the money and absolutely no complaints. My neck didn't warm up like the hat.

I LOVE this hood! I wish I had had one like this ONE YEAR AGO! The cherry blossom pattern is beautiful, the fabric is soft and silky (inside and out). Contrary to some complaints I read in reviews, the headband is not tight at all. I've had this cap for over a week now and it has kept my FULLY curly synthetic hair intact and looking new! It doesn't slip off my head at night and I sleep like a baby! I have a 20 inch haircut and I still have some room at the bottom of the hood.

The tape on this product is too thick (I wake up with a slight headache) but other than that it's a blessing on my hair. It's long, and over the years I've either "ananasized" it or stuffed it into oversized nightcaps. It will take forever to fluff and shape. Then I take it off, wipe my fingers and I'm done. No more flat tops or backs. I'm going to stretch the strap a bit so I can wear it all night again. It sucks because it was working great until the headaches started.

The main reason I ordered this satin sleep hat is because the description says 'double layered' and by the way, one of the first reviews shows someone wearing a satin sleep hat with double sided lining. Well I ordered a black 100% polyester nightcap and you know what? THIS IS NOT A SATIN LINING! I'm disappointed. Why can't companies be honest and open? I loved this item and was excited to wear it on the first night but had to return it almost immediately. So many things are wrong. First, as many have pointed out, this is not an atlas as advertised! We certainly don't fall for the "magic atlas" ads - an atlas is an atlas - but at least it can be promotional material. Second, it is NOT 27 inches as advertised! When fully extended, the distance from the headgear to the very end is 25 1/4 inches at best. There's a chance some actually measure 27…
