Very disappointed. It's supposed to be king size. It appears to be almost a king size. This barley covers the mattress. That may be fine but is very disappointed that they have used as little material as possible and still call it a king size bedspread. Nothing hangs like in the picture.

The duvet is very nice. However, I ordered thinking the whole set is king without reading the whole description. After excitedly washing and making my bed, I found this to be a standard prop. WHY? Why would you dress a standard fake with a royal quilt? But that's my fault. Now I have to find King Sham.

When I got this I thought the Matelasse should be flat. It was difficult to see the drawing. I put it in the dryer with some wet towels for about 15 minutes and the design came out right away. Great drawing and design. I bought an extra set of cushion pads to give it a plush look. The fabric is not soft and I wouldn't expect it to be perfect. The quilt itself is cute with beautiful intricate scallops which is what I was looking for. The king duvet comes with two standard size pillows only, which you are warned about in advance. They did however answer a question by saying if I wanted more I would have to buy them and it was impossible not to find them anywhere. Extra - without the same scallops. I bought a large gray scalloped edge for my large bed. I went ahead and ordered it even though other reviewers said it wasn't long enough (really wide). It wasn't too bad, but I wish it took a little longer to hit the bottom of my top mattress and the top of my dusty ruffle. That is beautiful! This is a very nice bedspread, perfect in weight and just looks great. Those are pluses. The downside is that it was covered with protruding threads. When I first took it out of the box, there was a huge ball of thread sticking out, including even colored threads (?) that I had to cut off. of free streams everywhere.
