No more safety pins

I have jeans that are over 30 years old. Many are upset. After a few years of gaining weight and stretching the waistband, the denim came undone and the button just slipped through. These buttons are easy to install and very durable. You do the trick!

  • Cool product
Cons
  • Safety

Store your pants day in, day out

They make great suspender attachment points. I used to use the Deluth version but it kept crashing. I didn't have these issues with this version and am happy with the durability. They endure daily violence on the streets, pass under cars and have no problems.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Approximate

As already mentioned, the buttons are of excellent quality, but the design of the clasp is poor, the reciprocal clasp comes out regularly. The knob has an extrusion with a plastic overlay, and the counterpart is a Phillips head screw. This type of closure is not suitable for clothes that go through the washer and dryer, a button closure or snap closure is more appropriate.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Looks good but is a bit delicate

4 Initially because I'm not happy with them but they could be better. The buttons look great. I bought these to replace a button that fell off a pair of button down jeans. They go together so well that you hardly notice the difference. However, the quality is just so. Despite the nice metal look, they're plastic and, as other reviewers have said, almost impossible to install without flexing. Once installed the connection seems solid so hopefully it will hold up well. I will update if not.

Pros
  • Fasteners
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Too small for a plain jeans button

Only deducted a star because they are called "denim buttons". I wanted to love the buttons but quickly realized that the 17mm size is too small. If they are for jeans, then maybe children's pants or back pockets. This size is definitely too small for the waist button of normal adult jeans. They appear to be well made and should be easy to install. Given the sharpness and width of the screw section, it may be appropriate to iron or otherwise reinforce the penetration area. Otherwise, it may rip…

Just what I needed to attach suspenders to my breeches

These buttons work great, now my breeches don't fall down - one of the many problems with a pear shaped old man. I didn't have any of the problems that many other reviewers had. I used blue masking tape, a ruler, and a marker to mark the attachment points. I then used an awl to punch holes in the belt's fabric and pressed the back pins into place. Finally, I lightly tapped the back pins onto the buttons and took a hard press or two to get the back pins fully seated into the buttons - no bent…
