Brass Powder Grams Casting Inlay Review

Just used this for the first time while making a club insert for a friend. I've used thin CA and mostly layered it. I was using keys from a local ACE hardware key machine, so this is a step up. The stick rotated smoothly and worked great. I will definitely order again.

I'm only rating it as less than perfect because I wanted more shine in the final product (if used as intended). The product came in bulk as advertised and is easy to use - I suggest finding a tiny spoon or scoop which you can throw away due to the brass to carefully take it out of the packaging (it comes in a box by the way double bag supplied). .

I teach wood inlays. This product does not work with low viscosity CA glue at all. As soon as the powder hits the relief and I drip onto the CA glue, the powder immediately floats to the surface instead of attaching itself to the glue in the relief. This is most likely due to how fine the powder is. I'm sure there are other great uses for this product but it's not what you want for wood inlays. Sorry for 1 star. I want to return this product even though I haven't used even 1% of it.
