Use it like a razor - great. If you need to swap out attachments to use your beard trimmer, no. The attachments are very tight - great until you want to switch to another attachment. When I switched to a beard trimmer, I found the angle very uncomfortable. I sent it back and exchanged it for a razor with a retractable trimmer.

I've tried a lot of electric razors over the last ten or fifteen years. The best I can say about this model is that it shaves just as well as the $300+ Series 7. It still doesn't compare to the blade. I would almost say if it weren't for the poor quality of the neck shave it would be almost decent. I've had this razor for about 2 months now and the self cleaning stand is pretty decent although I'm not sure how effective it really is. I prefer to remove the razor head and wash it in the sink. None of the instructions made it clear how to use the vacuum/charger or attachments. A quality product, but the instruction manual is supposed to tell you how to do something. A great example is the air purifier/charger: the 'instructions' are just warnings about what NOT to do with it. Shaved fairly well to begin with but has deteriorated much quicker than it should. The biggest problem is that he died suddenly and will not start no matter how much he is charged. Revain at least gives me my money back but it should take longer than 4 months.

After buying Norelco electric shavers I made changes, mainly because Norelco replacement shaving heads have gone down in quality and don't last as long. To be honest, they are cheaply built! After using my new brown for several months I will never go back to Norelco. Other Norelco customers should consider doing the same.
