Placed on concrete by front door, works well as long as it is dry. When it rains or snows, it turns into a sponge. If you want to save water by wringing out a dirty wet wet mat, this mat is for you, it's a water recycling monster. If you step on it while it's wet and step on the hardwood floor, it becomes a serious slip and fall hazard!

I use this on the inside of our patio doors and it does a great job of catching and holding those little bits of "outside" that people in the house keep an eye on . That's a good size. It lies flat and feels very durable. It has a non-slip rubber backing to keep it in place as well. Very happy with this rug. Much better than the previous ones we tried.

We had 5 of these and I can't get anything else anymore. We only replaced two because my dogs ate the first one as puppies. When we moved into our new house we also bought a very large one for the front door. The color goes with almost everything, is easy to clean and serves its purpose. If it is not moved for a long time, it will stick to the floor too well, so we just need to better clean it underneath.

I really really wanted to like it. The product description was golden. But I need an outdoor rug that will survive the Arizona summer. I was confused by the soft rubber base and drying for 5 minutes to get rid of wrinkles. But after leaving it outside for 20 minutes in late May it sealed itself. The pad was incredibly hot and the texture didn't convince me it would survive the rest of the day. I return sad.

Having only had it a few days I can't fully rate its absorbency but I gave it 4 stars - 3 times with company on rainy days and not noticed any puddles or excessive moisture. I've had compliments on how good it was. It fits in my entryway, reaches out far enough so people can't get into my living quarters from "outside" and doesn't block the door from opening either. I love how the pattern and color complement my floor.

These mats were purchased to be fitted in front of front doors, garage doors and sliding glass doors to the outside.
