These bulbs are perfect for turning off our old bulbs in our RV. They burn cool and will not melt the lantern's plastic cover. Everything fitted perfectly and everything caught fire during installation. None were broken.

I recently installed them in my RV 5th Wheel. The bulbs got hot and melted my lights. These are much brighter and colder. I had to replace lights damaged by incandescent bulbs. There is no need to talk about durability now. Ease of installation.

Don't forget to bring a large package. Some of me didn't connect well and never caught fire. I ended up having to adjust the wires that connect to the power supply and play around with them to finally get them to connect and trigger.

Replaced ALL the stock bulbs in my 2011 van. Other bulbs burned hot. very hot. If you try to take them off even 10 seconds after turning them on, blisters will appear on your fingers. They are quite rough and constantly cold to the touch. With nearly 30 bulbs, battery drain is minimal and the heat is gone.

After my old RV's had problems with blown LED lights I was a bit hesitant to try them but now I'm really glad I did! I needed light bulbs for my new RV and decided to give LED a try again, these bulbs are nice and bright! They've been installed for several months now and I haven't had to replace them yet! This is a very white light that stays much cooler than an incandescent bulb. (Incandescent lamp on the left, LED lamp on the right in picture 1) The old lamps in mine were previously abandoned and could no longer be used. (Pictured are old bulbs) These were a direct replacement and they are more efficient. I would buy a 40 pack again in a heartbeat, it was cheaper per bulb (nearly 50 cents each versus $15 for 2 at Wally World).

I only installed it a few weeks ago so I can't comment on durability. My main concern is if they will be too bright. You are exactly right. I made a change to extend battery life when dry camping. They reduce the electricity for lighting by about 80-90%. If you want to change the bulbs in your RV, count them first and check the bulb base type. There are more light bulbs than you think and they don't all have the same base. Thanks very much!

I used them on our camper. The old lightbulbs were very hot, these hardly ever get warm. And they are many times brighter than the old incandescent bulbs. The worst part was that you couldn't tell which direction they were going. Simple solution: plug it in, switch it on, if it doesn't work, unplug it. turn it over and put it back in place.
