Fantastic Substrate for Freshwater Aquariums!

I recently tested a new substrate for my freshwater aquarium and was thrilled with the results .As a result of my tests I determined that this substrate is one of the best on the market for its low price and ease of use. Not only did it make my tank look beautiful, but it also helped feed my plants with its nutrient-rich composition. The only con is that it can be messy during initial setup, but it's nothing a little clean up can't handle. Overall, this is a great choice for anyone looking to…

Pros
  • Provides essential nutrients to aquatic plants
Cons
  • Requires frequent water changes to prevent buildup of toxic substances

Brightwell Aquatics Laterine Powder.

This product in no way promotes the growth of aquarium plants. Very disappointed with this product. Definitely not worth the price.

Pros
  • Provides long-term nutrient availability with clay soil-like properties found in the environment in which aquarium plants were originally grown.
Cons
  • Available in white only.
