Don't waste money

I chose this sponge because it has the Good Housekeeping seal of approval. It's said to be well constructed to get into corners and its quick-drying material is said to reduce mold growth. I found that the sponge does not absorb water but leaves streaks on the surface because the sponge does not absorb water. Overall I was disappointed with its performance and the extra stitch is an outrageous price to pay. Don't waste your money on this sponge as regular sponges will do the job for a fraction…

Pros
  • For use on delicate surfaces such as porcelain, non-stick cookware, tile, glass and countertops.

Not as good as the old pink and white sponges

I use Estracell sponges in the sink to wash dishes and such. They're great for not smelling or falling apart. They're not good for soaking up spills, but I don't use them for that. I take them out of the kitchen after 2 weeks and use the old ones to clean the house. I can't give them 5 stars because the blue scrubber material isn't as good as the white material that was on the now discontinued pink Armaly sponges. The blue mop quickly looks shabby. I'm assuming the shortcoming is just the looks

Pros
  • A multi-purpose sponge with a wedge-shaped edge that gets deeper into hard-to-reach areas.
Cons
  • Crumpled

This is a really great sponge for the kitchen.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and anything that stays wet tends to smell sour or rancid. My fondness for using a sponge in the kitchen was a problem. All the others I've tried have only survived a few days without an odor, and that's in our beautiful, glacial clear water. I had to buy a huge bag of Costco sponges, blue ones, and they smelled rancid quickly. I found these Brillo sponges by accident. They never smell or spoil. Never! The sponge material is very easy to wring out under a tap…

Pros
  • The open-cell side of the sponge ensures thorough rinsing and effective removal of stubborn, dried-on dirt.
Cons
  • No Productivity
