For myself I cut off the part that should go around the handlebars because I won't be taking everything off and tightening from the back. I already have it fully installed but here are my first impressions. To connect this item you need to attach it to the steering wheel. So you have to remove everything in the way, including the handles, which may require you to cut them off and get new ones (which I will do). I didn't come back for that (but thought about it). This switch works as it should and does it well; But the shape of this switch causes a few minor issues that bother me enough that I'll probably be replacing it soon. I put it on my electric bike and hooked it up to a car horn and multiple turn signals (front and rear) powered by a 12v drill battery. My main problem is that I keep accidentally pressing the green button, and I think the way the button sticks out makes that random signal much more likely. I definitely signaled this by accident…
