Ultimate Performance & Style: Brooks Men's Ghost Black Ebony Sneakers Review

These shoes are great! Super comfortable to walk. I'm a big guy and they help with the effects of walking on the sidewalk. The only complaint I have is that the toe box is a bit loose and they run a size too big. I'm usually a size 13 4E and it fits just right, but they were about an inch larger than what I have on my toe. I had to send them back and got 12 4E and now they fit perfectly. There's a little more room in the toe box, but that doesn't affect my walk. Overall great shoes!

Ordered for my husband (he studied them and reviews) and used them for the first time today. He said these shoes were the BEST he's ever had! He usually uses New Balance but he said it will be BROOKS now! He said he felt like he was running through air. They are very comfortable and true to size. Usually he takes shoes one size bigger. I might try BROOKS next time I need to change my sneakers!

This is my third pair of rivulets. The first two were Ghost 10s. I bought the first pair in the store and then ordered a new pair from Revain a year later. They fit just as well as the first pair. This time I ordered the Ghost 11 hoping they would fit the same and be even more comfortable. I have a 4E wide size 14 so shoe shopping is a nightmare. As a marathon runner, I need a shoe that can withstand several hundred kilometers of running and still be comfortable on every run. These shoes did the job. I've bought about 10 pairs over the past few years, including multiple generations. The first thing we usually notice is the external healing of the sole, but only after about 400 miles so I'm happy with that. This particular color combination always draws compliments, especially from Philadelphia Flyers fans and Princeton students.
