Rubber sole. SHOE SIZE: "B" = Medium width. THIS SHOE IS FOR: This is a great option for neutral, efficient runners who don’t like a super soft shoe. It has just-right spring and is light enough to be a race shoe for longer distances like the marathon. ENERGIZED FEEL: Delivers a responsive and springy ride to add extra lift to your stride without compromising support or speed. SPRINGY CUSHIONING: BioMoGo DNA midsole cushioning and rebounding rubber create a springy feel underfoot. LIGHTWEIGHT FIT: The one-piece mesh upper and internal bootie are so light and breezy, they feel like they’re not even there.

Excellent Arch Support -

I've been wearing the Mizuno Wave Rider for about 20 years but the new version felt very stiff so I decided to try the Brooks Launch 6. These shoes are very light with excellent arch support which is the main issue for me. I find them very similar to Mizuno.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Negative present

Always go half a size up at Brooks

Born for Brooks (I have 22 pairs) and I love them equally. But don't let the fact that they differ from all women's Brooks styles fool you - ALWAYS order 1/2 size larger than your usual size. ps. those sequins, not crazy tasteless bullets - just a mild hint. I love them - and I'm thrilled that Brooks is finally making true blue shoes for women, moving away from the Miami Vice Teal they've offered for so long.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Some little things

Great shoe no period break

I used to have a pair of Brooks Launch but can't remember which ones. I needed a pair of shoes for work and remembered having no pain in my shins or knees after wearing them for hours. I am a nurse and my job requires me to be on my feet most of the day. The toe box is roomy but not too wide, with moderate arch support and good heel cushioning. The color corresponds to the photos. I usually wear a size 7, but I always order half a size up for sneakers. I am happy with my purchase!

Disappointed best in women

I bought this pair of Brooks based on the last pair I bought a year ago. BIG big mistake, I used to wear Brooks Ghose and the sock was great for my foot issues - I was able to jog again after a few weeks in these shoes. With this style it was the other way around. I've been wearing them for about two months now and my feet hurt excruciatingly all day. My toes are so tight and toe tight it's unbearable and the shoes are even bigger than my feet! Just not the comfort and product quality I would…

  • Always liked

  • Not bad

walk in the sun

Never thought tennis shoes could be so comfortable! I've bought Saucony Ride shoes in the past but the toe box was too small in the new design so I looked at other options. SO glad I found these Launch6s from Brooks. my foot is wider at the front and has a narrow heel with a high arch. They fit me perfectly - with noticeable arch support, a snug heel cup and plenty of room for my toes. I usually order Saucony 7.5 and my fingers go to my fingertips. I have more space in Launch6 - almost 1/2…

  • Regular Price

Ideal for 5km to marathon.

I run 3 marathons and at least 1 half marathon a year. So I go through at least 5-7 pairs of sneakers every year. Launch (4.5 and now 6) have been very valuable to me. This version is a little less structured in the toe area, but not as soft as the Anthem, which I also wear for training. I plan to wear this Launch 6 to the Carlsbad Marathon in January. I wore the latest pair of Launch 5s at the 2019 Chicago Marathon. So if you need great training shoes or great marathon shoes, I recommend these

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Can hurt
