I bought this folding stool because I can't kneel (due to knee surgery) and wanted to work in a friend's garden. It's great for folding up to put in the car, but not great for standing up and leaning forward and to the side to work in a flower bed, as the interlocking corners gave way underneath. I managed to get them together, but there's little hope this won't happen again.

The stool itself is great. I wanted it to be unobtrusive and was happy to find a gray where the buttons at the top weren't white dots that would stand out like neon lights. But one point for the big, stubborn product sticker - see photo. It took me five minutes to peel off the tiny bits of peeling polish on two of my nails and another three minutes to rub with glue remover to get it all off.

I bought this to use as a foldable step for my < 5ft 95lb fiancee when she climbs off the dock onto our boat. This is an ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, UNSAFE, shaky and dangerous move. Even for a 95 pound man, let alone a normal sized adult male. It's never solid at first, and after a few steps it gets very wobbly. She was afraid to use it and preferred to climb up. this is a really great stool, i use it to get to the windows of my trailer so i don't have to hang onto it The mirror and the steps to clean the outside and it folds nicely for storage. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because as you can see in the picture the hinge keeps coming loose and I have to keep checking it before using it because it's part of the support it can may or may not be defective but overall the stool is great, lots of complaints about the security sticker on the side…
