The shoes are very nice, the grip looks good. But my daughter was upset. She wears a size 4 but the size 4 was so tight in these shoes that I had to pull the boot off her feet hard to get them out.

The rubber sole fell off the front half of the boot completely after 4 months of infrequent use (on the playground). Update - The seller promptly responded to my initial one star review and sent me a new pair for free. Very happy with their responsiveness and customer service. Thank you!

My daughter has pronation and was looking for boots with lateral support. I tried several other running shoes but they were a bit wide and didn't offer enough lateral support. It seems to suit her well. She really likes boots and doesn't mind wearing them all day. These shoes may not be suitable for a person with wide feet.

These shoes are HUGE. My three sons wear Vans and Converse as everyday shoes. I bought the same size as the shoes of this brand. The hiking books looked like clown shoes. Crazy big. I had to return them and down two sizes for all three of my boys. and that was to give them room to grow! NOT WATER RESISTANT. Update: They survived two months of weekend hikes. That's all. waste of money

Bought for 4 and 5 year olds they are a little big and chunky but seem waterproof and comfortable. My oldest daughter wears them every day because they are so comfortable. They used them for rain hikes, bike rides in the rain, mushroom picking in the mud, and snowshoeing. They continue to hold up well and I expect to eventually be passed on to my 18 month old son. Outstanding quality for the price.

Arrived quickly and looks the same as the pictures. The boot's ankles don't look like they'll be comfortable for long due to the thin and stiff feel, but haven't been around long enough to test them. I find it a bit difficult for a child. I'll probably buy a second pair as a backup as I have my doubts about those hiking trails and small hill hikes.

Good walking shoes for a 7 year old. I ordered 13.5 because my daughter wears 13 and I wanted her to be able to wear thick socks. They fit perfectly. I will say that regular socks can feel a bit loose and it can be difficult to tighten the straps tight enough. The simple fix for us was the socks for the boots. Higher socks prevent the boot from chafing the front of your legs. They seem comfortable enough and after a month of weekend hiking they don't wear that great anymore.
