I ordered this to pack shipping boxes and it is NOT the BEST quality. In fact, I usually double this paper as it is thin and fragile. I had to have something so I didn't bother returning it but I would NOT order again in the future.

We use this brown kraft paper when we cook seafood, put it on the kitchen table and just sprinkle crab legs, shrimp and mussels on it and serve it to ourselves. I know it has many other uses but this is my favorite!

This paper is much thinner than the standard grocery bag. I read the questions before buying and the seller said it's a little thicker than the grocery bag. Not true. It may be good for some. but not my project. It's probably about as thick as cheap carbon paper.

It's not thick enough to deal with spills, but that's not a problem for me because it's more versatile (it can also be used for wraps).

I have been cutting a lot of glass on my mosaic projects and the newspaper just couldn't keep up protecting my table or containing broken glass they were everywhere. Using this paper made such a difference. It's sturdy enough to protect my table from all that glass. Broken glass on paper, not on the table. I can also fill it with grout and keep the mess on the paper much easier. It's quick and easy to clean up, I just fold a mess of broken glass and grout into paper and toss it in the trash.
