Great product! It works great for me. I find it less dangerous than a single pointer, not as sharp and more effective. It doesn't rust either. I ordered two different typical ice axes at the same time as I wasn't sure which one worked better and I don't even use them.

The Ultimate Pavement Salt Mill. It also works well for crushing ice, but right now, ice is my problem and salt is sort of my solution. This is a durable tool. I have another one that I've been using for two years and another that's been used longer at church. They have withstood heavy use well. Convenient to use. Very, very happy with the instrument. Seems to be a good ice crusher. I went around different retail stores but didn't like the quality of the products on offer. Most of them seemed too fragile, and some had non-steel metal pins. This ice breaker has a wooden handle attached to a metal cap welded to a piece that holds 6 steel pins. Length 9 inches as stated in the product name.
