First bad review I left

My first bad review. Received two of these toothbrushes and although I read the reviews my granddaughters preferred the attractiveness of the toothbrush over the vibration :). I put batteries in my first toothbrush and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work. I put it aside and put a battery in the second and it worked fine. the first one and burned my hand! We had to wait over 15 minutes for it to cool sufficiently to remove the battery and the battery was still hot enough to burn out…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Modern

Totally useless as an electric toothbrush. The factory installed screw is installed askew. Very careful attempt was made to remove the cross-threaded screw by stripping the tip of the screw rather than unscrewing it to accommodate the battery, defeating the whole purpose of buying an electric toothbrush.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Updates

Ideal for pollinating tomatoes in the AeroGarden.

I have an Aero Garden and they recommend using a sonic toothbrush for children around tomato buds to help spread the pollen. I bought this because it's cheap. Luckily I have a tiny X screwdriver. It was very difficult to remove the tiny screw but my husband managed. I've been using it for a week and it works fine. If I were a manufacturer I would change the way the battery door opens. Most people don't have the necessary tiny screwdriver.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Useless features

Stay away, avoid disappointment.

Stay away from it. I bought two at a time; As soon as I unpacked it, I noticed that the screw in the battery compartment on BOTH devices had already been torn off. I managed to remove the screw on one of the blocks but not the other; The screw on the second block just goes round and round. I put the battery in the first block and nothing happened. After some fiddling, I noticed that the piece of metal that was supposed to complete the connection to the battery was bent. In short, DO NOT BUY…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Don't buy this. - Electric Toothbrushes

Bought for my son as darning stockings. After we put the battery in, it didn't work at all. I tried 3 different batteries that we had on hand as well as the one that was in the package. Received an exchange for a new one. There were the same problems. Finally able to get the replacement working after 10 minutes of frustrated fiddling. The effort is definitely not worth it.

  • Good Thing

Need a screwdriver for first use

Comes with a battery that sounds great but you need a tiny screwdriver to open the battery compartment. The brush head also comes off too easily. When I help my daughter brush her teeth, she thinks it's funny to close her mouth and immediately take off the shirt. Most children's toothbrushes need to be rotated at least on purpose. I didn't think it was worth the slightly lower price.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Vibrating toothbrush (non-rotating)

Great toothbrush, but it only vibrates (and very little). It's not a rotating brush which disappointed me a bit but my daughter loves it. I guess I don't really understand the added benefits of a toothbrush that only has a slight vibration. It doesn't seem to add any value. The only benefit is that my daughter giggles when brushing her teeth because it tickles, so I think brushing is more fun.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Minor issues
