It definitely covered my unruly gray hair and gave my hair a nice shiny black. BUT! My head and face swelled up and I developed hives. I did a little test before using it. It is best to test on a small area, wait 3 hours for the result.

I have a short beard, this product covers all gray hair and leaves no stains on the skin, 10 minutes and then just remove the excess in a water bath. Never use hair dye again, this product really lives up to its claims.
