I use them to connect stepper motors to an Arduino project because they are lightweight and replace airplane-type metal connectors. At first I thought I had a bad connection due to the jitter of the motors, but after a lot of diagnostic work it turned out to be a software issue. Changing my rating now as they work well. And the seller contacted me about my concerns in my previous post - very responsive!

They work great mechanically and for installing just a few LEDs. But despite the 22 AWG claim, the wires are 24-28 AWG, which is useless for most things related to RGB LED setups. When was the last time you saw an RGB setup with fewer than a few hundred LEDs? I have 265 WS2811 RGB LEDs with a total current of 12A (60mA per RGB LED) divided into 4 strings of 50 LEDs each, plus two smaller strings for 65. That's 3A for a string of 50 LEDs.

Honestly, this should be the standard for any RGB system. Typical connectors in RGB systems are unreliable at best and downright unreliable at worst. I had severe flickering and connectivity issues with my RGB setup and struggled with this for many months. It was so frustrating that I finally decided to just replace it with a different plug.
