Great deal on a sturdy box

Bought this at the last minute for an urgent project. This item is very durable, well built and a great price for what you get. I might buy a few more for home projects.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Disappear

Fits lawnmower battery

Perfect for my solar system. It's mounted on my stand and fits in a lawnmower battery with room for a charge controller. I sealed all unused holes with silicone.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Zero

Good quality box suitable for electrical boxes

For storing solar control equipment and displays to monitor the 12v battery pack when converting a caravan. Ideal for work. Very happy with the quality and solid construction. The knockout holes came out very easily and the front zip closes the box well. I bought two.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Good workmanship - electronic boxes

Anyway, I returned it to buy a slightly larger case (it's on me). Also, it's a really solid box that I'd happily use if everything I need for my VFD setup fits in. I don't have much experience with these types of cases, but I have a feeling a lot of them don't have a secure clasp like this one.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I will buy a bolt and lock

The box looks reasonable, good value for money. Be willing to work to have something safe and useful. I used a hole saw to cut a 3" hole and added a cupcake fan so I can mount external hard drives for the NVR here. Holes galore - on all sides of the box. Reviewers grappled with knockout holes; I just used a screwdriver to make the ones I need. I made the mistake of buying a cam to replace a keyless slotted cam, but then had to work on molding a new lever. Waste of time because when I was done…

Good solid construction

I used this case to house a controller I built for my fountain. Good solid construction. My only complaint is that the very thick layer of paint (a good thing) made it difficult to punch the knockout holes, causing the backup ring to crack and bend. Easy to fix with pliers, after that I traced the color with a utility knife before punching the knockout holes and they came out clean.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great electronics box project

I bought this to use as a project box for an electric brew panel. It worked great. I have enough space to add more items to this panel. I like the locking feature and the pre-drilled screw hole. I was able to ground everything to the box with no problem. I ended up varnishing this because I ruined the finish a bit by cutting out the extra holes. I used embossed metal spray paint and it looks amazing. I rubbed the outside first to get good adhesion but the paint didn't come off at all. Overall…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
