They are the only ones that can be used in jigs.

I only use them in the lamps I have. They generate a lot of heat, wear gloves when handling. I buy a bright matte light and they shine well.

Very Hot Bulbs!: Bulbs

These bulbs are bright and do their job quite well, but they get REALLY hot. I don't remember my previous xenon bulbs getting that hot. This is generally the main reason for using a xenon bulb instead of the cheaper halogen bulb. It's hot enough that the drywall behind my light fixture feels very warm. For now, my only thought is replacing the bulb to avoid the repeated expense of those expensive and potentially dangerous xenon bulbs. Your mileage may vary

Wrong items, wrongly labeled boxes.

ordered two of them. I have a 60w bayonet base bulb (which I ordered) and a 60w E12 base bulb. Revain sent me a replacement and it was a 40w bulb with a mini candelabra base. I declined and asked for a refund. Revain didn't offer to pay for a second return but luckily I can send both defective lamps back using the first return label. The boxes of lightbulbs were clearly mislabeled somewhere along the line, so their inventory is a mess.

I've been using them for 5 years now and hate them because they get very hot and die every year.

The last batch of lightbulbs I bought are dangerous! 2 of them *exploded*. One right over my head after I turn on the light but before I close the light. I'm glad I wasn't at the eye level of the light when the bulb blew up. We had to vacuum to get the glass and wires off the floor. I've been using them for 5 years now and hate them because they get very hot and die every few months. I have 2 lights that use these bulbs so either the lights are defective or these bulbs are not very reliable…
