I have been using this for many years. It's quite sticky - I wouldn't use it during the day. Put it on before bed. Go to bed with weather-beaten, cracked, dirt-dried hands and wake up fresh. It got me after several days of gardening, gardening, keeping horses, building, etc. These are really amazing things.

I have problems with cracked skin on my thumbs. That hurts. I have tried Cetaphil and A&D Ointment. Although they bring some relief, it's fleeting. I applied Burt's Bees Shea Butter Hand Cream and after a few hours the cracks closed and my thumbs no longer hurt. While it's not "one time and ready" in the sense that I need to use it daily, it works incredibly well and is far superior to anything I've tried.

This is so amazing for my severely chapped hands from constant washing and hand sanitizer. It absorbs well, the smell is pleasant.
