The price is right and the card is ready

I don't like the size and it's very difficult to fold but it shows every little corner I've always been looking for so take two minuses Huge plus

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Almost never

Definitely worth the money

I live in Oregon so I can judge the roads I know by the information on the map. The map is very good, although sometimes difficult to read. Obviously I now need to buy an off-road version of the map to better describe the dirt roads.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

You'll get more when you see how great they are

If you are a motorcyclist (of any kind) and do NOT know about these cards, you MUST get one (start with the state or give you live in). You'll learn more as you see how amazing and useful they are for planning your 'perfect trip'.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some bugs

Terrible off-road

Claims that this map can be used to find a Dual Sport [read off-road] route. NOT. If you drive on the sidewalk it's no better than the free state card they give out at information booths and at $14.95 it's a lot more expensive. Purchase a control map for any routes/roads not shown on this Butler map.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • poorly thought out

They all have big roads, no. Are they a great travel planning tool, yes.

For a person living in Oregon, it's easy to say they've missed this or that 80-mile sidewalk. But if you don't have a good local, this is a great tool to start planning your trip and a great place to record your travels with markers. These are fun, well-organized maps and unless you're a local, they're essential for planning your motorcycle trip. Oregon is as twisted as California, but nobody knows about it.

Pros
  • Easy-to-Read Control Panel
Cons
  • Not Everything Fits Right

Fantastic maps for motorcycles and powersports

Used Butler G1 maps of Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana to tour the Northwest on our adventure bikes. Drive through many, many amazing paved roads that we would have missed with a regular map or GPS. The road ratings were accurate and up to date. The only complaint I have is their color coding, which can be difficult to decipher as their "gold" streetlights look like their "bronze" lights. The price of the map seemed overpriced but made our trip that much more enjoyable and took theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • The list will go on and on.
