I already had a barbell pad i purchased from another major brand competitor. The biggest issue with it was that it was a slip on pad that left a gap open. My son received this a month ago and he uses it daily. It is well made ( however we have only used it indoors). This is one of those simple things that solves a big problem! Older sink, and the part that kept my sink stopper up dissolved. So the stopper kept the water in the sink. Without the stopper, there was the danger of things falling in.Our plumber said to put traps in the bathroom drains to keep hair from going through our drains. I tried multiple tripods and settled on this one. Since I am short I do not need the extension which saves on weight and space while traveling. I have not had any problems with the twist locks but am still getting used to them. I prefer the thumb lock system but for a light weight tripod this had to be sacrificed. It is very light. The leather feels great. Very solid. I’ve dropped this several times and no knicks or dents appear. It grips extremely well to the case without using the adhesive. I also like that there’s no additional hinge on the back like many other cases that look ugly. Only down side is that it bulges in the pocket a bit more and it’s now too thick to fit in my coin pocket. Still! Very nice.
