ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! .but maybe not for all types of monitors

So I just wanted to clarify a few things from my personal experience for people who may be in a similar situation as mine. I have a 27" 1500R Curved VA AOC monitor (CQ27G2) which I realize is outside of their recommendations but I read about people having varied success online and figured I'd give it a shot because I'd had my eyes on something like this for a while and didn't realize Govee had released this!I'd like to start by saying I am EXTREMELY happy with this purchase, and was able to get it working to a level that really feels like it kicks my gaming set up to the next level. Honestly though, at least with my monitor, the set up really only excels on movies or music mode. I wasn't ever able to get the camera into a spot that captures the top of the screen, and after some experimenting I decided to calibrate it as seen in the attached screenshot. Even though I was effectively setting the "middle" of the screen to be the to corners, I found that by tweaking the layout of all of the lights I got it all to match up anyways. As far as colors while gaming, I think it a combination of the 1500R curve AND the VA panel having meh vertical viewing angles AND I use the "HDR Game" setting on the monitor because it brightens everything up and sharpens it some but that seems to wash out the colors even more through the camera's lens. All of that combined means that a lot of CoD felt the bars on the side were almost always a muted white or often a very faint reddish hue in dark areas unless there was something very brightly saturated happening. For example the thermite hitting the wall in the attached video causing the strobing or whenever I pull up the scoreboard on Vangaurd the light bars slightly reflect the color of the team on that side. THESE KIND OF THINGS FEEL SO SATISFYINGHonestly I was worried about the lights being distracting if they were just thowing colors everywhere all of the time, so the mostly muted background that subtly shifts in response to me moving/aiming and occasionally throws color out is actually perfect IMO for competitive shooters.THE BEST COLOR ACCURACY IMO is achieved via the "Video" -> "Movie" -> "Bar Segment" and I have attached screenshots of the brightness, saturation, and white balance settings I am using for basically everything as of right now but will update this if I find anything better!I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND A FLAT IPS PANEL FOR THESE
