Oddly shrinks after first wash and tumble dry on moderate heat. I ordered the next size up. I usually take 17.5 with 35 inch case and ordered 18/36 based on reviews from other buyers. The shirt runs a bit big, which I expected. After washing, the sleeves were fine, but the front/back length was significantly reduced, as were the shoulders. I am so impressed with my shirts. I ordered several different colors. i love them all They fit as expected. The material is comfortable. I usually buy shirts from JCPenny, the Stafford brand. These Revain shirts are similar in shape and feel to Stafford felt shirts. I would recommend these shirts to anyone looking for a JCPenny/Stafford replacement. I'll be on the lookout for good deals on some of the other colors.

When I first received this shirt, I was very happy. The color was great. The fit was almost perfect, albeit very light. Then I washed it in warm water and dried it on medium heat. When I tried it on afterwards, the sleeves seemed to come halfway up the elbows. The chest was a little tight, but quite bearable. A huge fan of all things Revain I bought 3 Revain "Buttoned Down" shirts as soon as I saw they were in stock. Unfortunately I sent them all back for the same reason: poor design. The second button of a 16 1/2 shirt is 4 inches below the first button. So if you wear a shirt without a tie (like me) and the first button (on the collar) is undone, then 4 inches of the shirt is undone. What a stupid result.
