Description of πŸ”Œ Cable Matters 10-Pack Snagless Cat6 Ethernet Cable (Cat6 Cable, Cat 6 Cable) - 10 ft, Black

High Performance Internet cable is Cat6 rated; The Ethernet cord with 24 AWG copper wire provides universal connectivity for LAN network components such as PCs, computer servers, printers, routers, switch boxes, network media players, NAS, VoIP phones, PoE devices, and more. Cat6 performance at a Cat5e price but with higher bandwidth; Future-proof your network for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (backwards compatible with any existing Cat 5 cable network); Meets or exceeds Category 6 performance in compliance with the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standard. A Category 6 Ethernet patch cable is also referred to as a Cat6 network cable, Cat6 cable, Cat6 Ethernet cable, or Cat 6 data/LAN cable. A wired Cat 6 data cable is more reliable and secure than a wireless network or Cat5 cable network for your internet connections. The connectors with gold-plated contacts and strain-relief boots provide durability, and ensure a secure connection; Bare copper conductors enhance cable performance and comply with specifications for communications cables. Flexible and durable RJ45 cable with high bandwidth of up to 550 MHz guarantees high-speed data transfer for server applications, cloud computing, video surveillance, and online high-definition video streaming.

Factories; Gigabit Speed

After years of home networking, I've learned three things: 1. Don't buy flashy power cords if they're visible; You want them to harmonize.2. It's probably worth buying the right length patch cords and not crimping the ends yourself. Thus, there are fewer problems with accidental connection. Make sure the ends separate easily. I have previously purchased several ethernet cables which were very difficult to pinch and bit me when unplugging them from devices in hard to reach places. These cables…

Excellent cables, again from CM

Excellent cables. star cable. Real stranded copper wiring. Twist and separator as expected. Someone else reported that the connector is not a true Category 6 connector. The pacing does nothing for the noise. It's all about curl speed and the separator in the middle. Which CM cables have both, as you would expect from a quality Cat6 patch cord, as well as stranded solid copper cables.

Your Choice of Ethernet Cable Matters

I did some new long runs to finally get rid of the wireless slowdown. The usual cable set that came with various devices as an accessory was piled up and used by me as a wall-to-device cable (station cable) in new areas. The channel refused to reach full gigabit speeds. I ordered these because I had good experiences with their SATA cables and the speed I was hoping for was achieved. So this experience reinforced what I knew from too many years in IT but ignored because, like many people, I'd…

Could Cable Matters Cat 6 patch cords be connected incorrectly?

I'm not 100% sure on this yet, but I think ALL the Cat 6 cables I ordered from Cable Matters about 3 years ago may not be properly terminated. None of the cables failed, but after some research I found out that there is an obvious difference between the Cat 5 and Cat 6 end ends (plugs). All wires in a Cat 5 connector go straight in, but wires in a Cat 6 connector must be offset or zigzag. In 2018 I ordered a bundle of Cat 6 patch cords through Cable Matters and Tripp Lite. All of the wires in…
