Great Solution at an Affordable Price

They make your cables look handmade. Just remember to tighten them before stripping and crimping the fork. I would recommend them for Cat6 but not smaller diameter. There is already a small gap between the cable and the dust bag. Cat5 cables may not work with them.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories & Peripherals
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Ideal for CAT 6 cable

Most compensators on the market do not compress well with CAT 6 cable which tends to be thicker than CAT 5 cable I have tried products from three different manufacturers; They were the only lightweight boots big enough not to get in the way. You can make others work, but they will make your life easier.

  • fades

Looks good but doesn't work with my STP Cat6 cable

Seems to be a quality product but they don't fit my STP Cat6 cable. I have a 500 foot coil. The RJ45 connectors I bought also don't work with this spool, so maybe I just have a spool of cable that doesn't want to be compatible with stuff lol. If you have UTP cable, that's probably fine. If you have STP I would definitely try them on cable before the return window closes.

Pros
  • Computer and accessories
Cons
  • Obsolete model
