Description of Cable Matters 5 Pack Snagless Ethernet Computer Accessories & Peripherals

High Performance Internet cable is Cat6 rated; The Ethernet cord with 24 AWG copper wire provides universal connectivity for LAN network components such as PCs, computer servers, printers, routers, switch boxes, network media players, NAS, VoIP phones, PoE devices, and more. Cat6 performance at a Cat5e price but with higher bandwidth; Future-proof your network for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (backwards compatible with any existing Cat 5 cable network); Meets or exceeds Category 6 performance in compliance with the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standard. A Category 6 Ethernet patch cable is also referred to as a Cat6 network cable, Cat6 cable, Cat6 Ethernet cable, or Cat 6 data/LAN cable. A wired Cat 6 data cable is more reliable and secure than a wireless network or Cat5 cable network for your internet connections. The connectors with gold-plated contacts and strain-relief boots provide durability, and ensure a secure connection; Bare copper conductors enhance cable performance and comply with specifications for communications cables. Flexible and durable RJ45 cable with high bandwidth of up to 550 MHz guarantees high-speed data transfer for server applications, cloud computing, video surveillance, and online high-definition video streaming.

Null Working Cables

NULL worked out of all 5 sets. Worst cables I've ever used. It is known that good switches, devices etc. were used. Those are cables.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Not real CAT6 cables, avoid!

The ends of the cable use CAT5e connectors, this is NOT a true CAT6 cable, you will get increased crosstalk (lower speeds).

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Good price, functional

We try to color code important cables to remind others that certain cables should not be disconnected without considering potential problems. To do this, important connections are made in our network with red wires, as a signal that "dragons will be here". These Cable Matters are the specified length, work well and come in a beautiful bright red colour. :-) It ticked all the boxes for this purchase.

Pros
  • Very good value for money

these cables are not good quality

Sorry CableMatters Cat6 cables are rubbish. In our very large corporate network infrastructure, we had all sorts of little problems. And finally one day one of the problems was diagnosed as a bad cable. OK, it happens. cables fail. So we started to think of our other problems as cable problems. And one by one. All cables are different lengths (so different retail packaging), we found that our gremlins were caused by bad cables, and all bad cables pulled were CableMatters cables. All other…

Original CAT6 Cat 6 cable

I recently bought some other so called CAT6 cables but when I cut them apart they didn't have the X-shaped expander in the middle that was supposed to hold the four twisted pairs. Cut. However, when I cut one of those cables, I saw that it had an expander. I haven't tested their performance, but they appear to be true CAT6 cables.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Very expensive
