Prevents my Surface USB-C port from being disabled.

I like Surface but when I use it as a keyboard screen the mini display port is raised. Plugging in any type of adapter to connect multiple devices means the adapter is hanging in the air or needs to be propped up as I couldn't find an adapter with a long cable that would allow for multiple screens (not mirrored). . Mode). This will mess up the port of the tablet. I bought it and the problem is solved. It fits snugly into the port and its length allows adapters to be placed flat and out of theโ€ฆ

Works well as a Thunderbolt cable extender for my late 2013 Macbook Pro.

Based on some reviews here I wasn't sure if this would work to extend the Thunderbolt connection on my end 2013 MacBook Pro expand. That works great! The connection is very tight (no chance of falling out) and the video plays well. Just to give a little more detail, my cable connection is a little tricky: my external monitor only supports "Dual-Link DVI" which means I used a big, bulky cable with an adapter that supports a large DisplayPort - converted to a Mini DisplayPort cable (Thunderclap).

Not for data transfer! - Should have explored more

I wanted this to pocket my Haridirve lightning rod without having to go under my desk to the computer tower. It turns on the hard drive but doesn't recognize it. Don't get over the data transfer. I should have done more research to understand that if the description doesn't include the word "thunderclap" then no data is transferred to disk. It was foolish to think that the cable could have the right connections I was looking for (male-female) but would only do part of the job. However, Cableโ€ฆ
