A valuable purchase, some advantages!

When buying such a cable for connecting a laptop and a high-definition monitor, look for the icon next to your Thunderbolt (Type-c) port on your laptop. Read that this is a thunderbolt port! Otherwise, it may be a waste of money. Plus, the cable has a one-way flow: Thunderbolt to DisplayPort!
