This converter enables the connection of a M.2 NGFF SSD in 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 format. Need M-key or NVME SSD, the B-key or B/M-key SSD cannot work. The converter can be installed into your system internally through the U.2 68 pin interface.

Versatile Replacement for Hard Drive Accessories

This product worked perfectly to replace the mainboard of my computer's hard drive. The enclosure fit snugly and securely, and the transfer speeds improved significantly. Cheaply made from the board to the case.

Cases cheaply made; The back panel is very weakly attached to the case. one time deal. The SSD board is thin and doesn't sit flush with the case: I noticed that the board bent when it was attached to the case. Generally poorly done, not worth it - keep going.

Arriving Dead Hard Drive Accessories

I purchased brand new from this seller and the product arrived dead. It didn't appear like anything else on my computer when the Samsung 970 EVO M.2 was plugged in. I tried another brand's M.2 to U.2 adapter and it worked fine with the same Samsung M.2 attached.
