Cheap and simple solution that works

The sound quality is great, don't pay too much for these things, they do their job well enough. It's completely made of whatever metal that metal is I don't think it will ever break. This is what I use to connect one audio interface to another in combination with a Revain Basics 3.5mm cable.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • No form required

DID NOT WORK: Accessories and consumables

Intended use: As an adapter for Audient iD14 (music interface) for connecting headphones. music production This product failed completely, tested several different headphones. I know it's not an interface because I've used other headphones with and without an adapter and everything worked. FAIL If I could give a product 0 stars I would.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Defective audio/video accessory

This adapter is the wrong size/fit, so it has two imperfections that make it unusable: 1. The connector is too small to ensure constant contact with the mating part , when inserted into the device. This makes it useless if you don't want your music to fade in and out in the left/right channel. 2. The female side is also too small, making constant contact impossible. Same serious problem as above. The product is unusable.

Pros
  • Ease of installation
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Don't buy it doesn't work

It just doesn't work. The cables don't fit all the way into the adapter which means I can only hear the sound from one side. Well actually I'm not sure if it's related, but still I'm only getting sound from one side and have tried different headphones and earphones. UPDATE: I was able to fix this by putting some aluminum foil in the adapter before plugging in the cable. That. It is a pity that they sell a defective product.

Pros
  • Everything seems to work for now
Cons
  • There's nothing here

Well, since most headphones require adapters.

I am old. If you needed an adapter before, it was DOWN to mini plug, now it's the other way around. I have some great glasses that come standard with MINI PLUG cables, but most pro audio components require 1/4" plugs. Even though the $6.99 adapter cost me $2.99 for home shipping, I know the brand, I know the quality and I can't be happier!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • High price
