Very short protrusion on the back which is a plus. But the cable itself is a bit stiffer than we'd like. However, I still connected this cable from my Yamaha receiver to my Toshiba TV and everything works without any problems.

These square head cables are great but I should double check my needs. Turns out I really needed the reverse angle. Well, I recently bought some rectangular HDMI connectors to get it working. Good cable though.

The cable is solidly constructed, works well and is very reasonably priced. But the one I received seemed to have been sent back before. Two turns of the tie were loose. And when I got the cable out of the plastic bag, two fat crumbs came out. A little disappointed. Customer service was very polite, sent me a new replacement.

It turns out that both work well. But if you're looking for the lowest profile, these are probably the ones you want - they barely extend past the thickness of the cable from where they plug in.
