Useful for unique technologies

Ideal for Raspberry Pi where Ethernet port, HDMI and power are on opposite sides This cable has all wires going in the same direction. The cable itself is a little cheap, especially the cable release latch.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • No

This cable does a great job of keeping my network cable away from mine.

My new laptop has a network cable connection on the front that interferes with using the mouse. This cable provides excellent protection for your network cable from a mouse. By the way. I noticed that there is no common language for such cables when looking at the descriptions of different manufacturers. I bought a "rectangular" cable. Another manufacturer called the same "left-handed" cable. Check the photos carefully to ensure you have the correct item.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • No instructions

Right angle LAN connection cable

A new computer desk was installed covering the LAN wall port. The previous straight cable stuck out too far to place the table close to the wall. This LAN connection cable solved the problem. Seems to be good quality and works great for my application

Pros
  • Nice package
Cons
  • Some problems

Ideal for reducing cable clutter

Bought for my wife who has a laptop network port on the side and takes up the space she uses for her mouse. Allows the Ethernet cable to run parallel to the side of the laptop without getting in the way. She bets 5+. That pleases me too. Make sure you order the correct cable that matches the direction you want to orient the Ethernet cable.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • The list goes on.

DO NOT snap into slot

I wanted to use these with my Surface Pro 3's edge mounted dock. I like the rectangular connector, but unlike most ethernet patch cords, they do NOT snap into the connector and then fall out, breaking the connection between the computer and the server. They are absolute junk in my opinion and should be taken off the market, plus they DO NOT deserve to be on the Revain Choice list. A good way to secure the connection is with a strip of duct tape or maybe heavy duty tape. (Just be sure to wipe…

  • handy

Works but right angle plug hangs sometimes

This network cable works fine when plugged in, the problem for me is unplugging it. I use it to connect and disconnect my HP laptop to my home network. The right-angle connector sometimes gets stuck and has to wiggle at the end of the laptop to disconnect. I connected several network cables to and from the laptop and none had this problem except this one. I have some concerns that this may eventually cause the laptop's network port to become intermittent, so I won't be using it anymore. I don't

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some errors
