🔌 CableMod ModFlex Sleeved Internal USB Cable (Black, 30cm) Review

Worked well to extend the cable for motherboard access. I did put some sprockets in though as they are not as red as the cable extensions I got from CableMod. These extensions are a darker shade of red. It's no good if you get these things for aesthetics.

Well, I didn't want to wait for delivery from China and was too lazy to do it myself make, so I ordered this cable with Prime delivery. While it does the job, it's overpriced for what it is. It doesn't have a key notch to prevent back tucking and the pins on the male side were bent out of shape so I had to bend them back to make it work. Not impressed for $8.

Perfect for adding a special touch to your design and ensuring perfect system cable routing. I used this to extend my Corsair water cooling USB cable so it can be routed behind the motherboard. The CableMod has never let me down but the reason it doesn't give 5 stars is because the pins got damaged and I had to bend them back into place. A minor inconvenience but could have been avoided by packing it in a cardboard box instead of a plastic bag.

I need this cable so I can extend the reach of my Corsair Commander to my USB socket on my new MSI b550 I. The header is in very difficult to get to the place. I only have 2 options: Either break the cable under the graphics card or run it over the whole case. Both options require a fairly flexible cable, and it's not that easy to bend.
