🔌 Enhanced Carbon CableMod PRO ModMesh RT-Series Cable Kit Review

I ordered this kit because CableMod have a really good reputation for the quality of their cables. Well what can I say other than I'm a little disappointed to say the least. All the cables I've used in this kit work perfectly except for one. The 24 pin cable doesn't seem to fit my PSU (which is on the compatibility list). I contacted CableMod and we'll see what they do.

Pros: They look good and feel good. Half of the cables don't fit. t including CPU and PCIEPCIE cables are 6-pin cables split into 8-pin cables. only 6 wires at the end of the power supply Did I mention that the wires are not labeled? Have you ever managed your cables only to find that what you thought was an 8-pin PCIE connector isn't actually an 8-pin PCIE connector because of an irregularly shaped hole at the end of the cable? Cables look great, much better than before with standard cables. They are quite stiff but allowed me to bend them just enough for the sharp radius of the MB connectors. One thing I learned the hard way is to connect the MB connectors first and then apply to the power supply. I went the other way on the 24-pin MB connector first and found that it didn't twist exactly the way I wanted it to. These cables are slightly smaller than full custom cables. I think it's way better than extensions because there's less clutter and fewer connections. The bad news is that the cables are surprisingly stiff and difficult to route around tight corners, even running in a large water-cooled chassis. That's silly because they're just for looks and they look really good compared to standard cables. much better, actually better than I expected.
