Stranded wire was required and after cutting off the terminals at the end it turned out to be solid wire. Needless to say we are very unhappy to have received solid wire when we ordered stranded and at a higher price than solid. Better look elsewhere if you definitely have strands. Only gave two stars because there are a lot of cables.

coppered. Not really all copper wires. Copper scratches easily. The PVC outer shell is stiff rather than flexible, but feels durable. The wire has a small nylon cord between the outer jacket and the foil jacket. Overall diameter 3/16 inch. Wire Color Codes: Black, Red, Yellow, and Blue with optional bare ground. Each wire has 7 cores. It would be 5 stars if the wire was all copper.
