I bought two for myself and my partner as housewarming gifts. We wear it like a towel and even rest (a little longer than we would like 😂) because of its comfort and coziness. It's also very spacious if you're in doubt about going for a large one. My partner and I are both smaller but it's too big for us (we love it). I strongly suspect that people who decide it runs small are (a) a little bigger than they think and (b) it's warm / hot wash and dry. I bought two sizes based on their reviews and as I'm 5'10M with a 31" inseam and 31/2" waist, S/M fits great and L/XL might fit me and one other person True to size, wash in cold water and hang dry as the garment is meant to be worn.

Although I like Cacala towels, I was very, very disappointed with the bathrobe. Maybe that's because I don't have a model body and the dressing gown doesn't fit me. The tassels that make the towels unique don't add to the look and I was never sure if I tied the belt correctly. The killer was that the sleeves shrank horribly despite a thorough wash in cold water and tumble dry on the lowest setting. The rest of the robe looked normal, but now the sleeves looked weird. This is my second bathrobe from this company, the second one is at least 3 years old. It was hard to give this item a star because I really like it, but it does have a couple of notable flaws. The first robe has a denser fabric, a longer waistband, and doesn't shrink as much as the second robe. Have used Pestemal towels for years and love them. I also really like the robe but with a few caveats: it runs small and then shrinks at least 4 inches in the length of the sleeve and body after washing.
