Wooden Dinosaur Assembly Kit - Calary Simulation Review

I assembled 2 models for a 6 year old and a 3.5 year old. None of us have much experience with 3D puzzles. The main problems were 1) Not all parts are properly labeled. With children you need a lot of patience to find the right details. 2) Many parts cannot be connected tightly enough. We decided from the start that it would be easier to hot glue them every few steps. 3) The instructions are not clear enough. I bought this as an 8th birthday present for my son who loves dinosaurs and construction. Luckily, this combines the two – score! The only thing I would recommend is to use super glue to glue the pieces together. I was hoping to use it on my youngest son but turns out the notches get wider with use anyway. My 6 year old and I are putting these puzzles together. They are simple and easy to assemble. Pieces of the puzzle fall out of the larger leaf of the tree, and some of them will eventually have to be sanded down. A small piece of sandpaper is included. A must for this project is glue. That's what I expected in terms of quality. The wood is thin and can break easily. If you take your time, they break through fairly easily. The instructions are also very easy to follow. HOWEVER I've collected three so far and had to take a break out of frustration. You don't stay connected. Every time I tried to add another part, the previous one fell off.
