That's what I expected in terms of quality. The wood is thin and can break easily. If you take your time, they break through fairly easily. The instructions are also very easy to follow. HOWEVER I've collected three so far and had to take a break out of frustration. You don't stay connected. Every time I tried to add another part, the previous one fell off. I just wanted to use them as party decorations but I can't even keep them assembled let alone put them in another room. If you want to glue them together for durability, that should be an option, but isn't required. Very disappointed.
