Cambro Camwear RFSCWC6135 Covers Container Review

To be honest ok these PITA type things fit on top of a container but once on they work fine. I use these containers to make and store bread dough. I only "like" them because I need them for the damn containers (which I love).

Sits freely! It doesn't even seal! Very disappointing! Also, I bought it because of the container that didn't even have a lid. Yes, I had to buy it separately! Dear Revain, You must either stop selling the Cambro jar with no lid and this lid that doesn't even fit properly, or you must come up with a solution. I'm not the only one complaining about this.

I bought this cover to replace the lost one for my 6kW. Container. Based on other comments, this led me to believe it would fit in my container, which it does. My complaint is that it doesn't fit snugly and doesn't snap into place like the old lid. If I use it for bread dough it doesn't matter as it doesn't need to be snug. But when I use it for storage and transport, it doesn't take long before I open the lid. How the cover works, but nothing more.

This lid fits a Cambro RFS6PP190 6 or 8 liter round container. I ordered a lid separately that fits this container. If you want a tight fit, this container and lid combo is not for you. It fits a little loose but is the right diameter for this container. It seems like a sturdy lid, but I use it to proof bread dough in the fridge, so I had to put a sheet of plastic wrap underneath to get a really tight seal for that use.
