Cambro SFC2 452 SFC2452 Lid Camsquares Review

Great lid, fits perfectly, no watertight seal, just fits over. I would like more colors, but that doesn't bother me in any way.

Do not buy. This item does not snap easily. It takes two hands and a good eye to make sure everything is lined up correctly, and even then there's no guarantee the lid will be in the right place.

I like this jar and lid. I use a cast iron skillet. I then place this container on the counter for nesting time. Works great, saves money and the hard plastic container holds hot oil.

Using a 4 liter pot to salt chicken breasts. The lid snaps on but doesn't prevent spills as long as you hold the container in your hands. Not bad at $5 but not more expensive. If you must seal the container tightly, cover it with plastic wrap.

Instead of just a lid I received a whole container, top and bottom. I wanted the lid to complement the base I had and it was cheap to just buy the lid. But I have a whole container! So I still have a bare bottom (excuse the expression) and the price just for the lid has skyrocketed. Strange business model.

I rely on Cambro containers for storage and cooking. The tabs on my lids tend to break after prolonged use so this was a replacement. The fit was good, the material is good too. If you don't have access to a local restaurant business, this would be your option. It costs more than double what you would pay at your local store, but when you need it, this is a convenient way to get it. Thankfully Cambro's quality control is top notch as this cover fits just as well as the previous ones. It was.
