Check the spacing of your prop guide

The wrench is much thicker than the old wrench which was thin metal. The thicker material prevented the key from working due to the position of the prop guide.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So far so good

Read if you have a Dometic water heater.

This doesn't work with the angle the water heater drain is on our RV. We have a Dometic water heater where the drain is slightly slanted downwards and therefore the tool doesn't fit.

Pros
  • Adjustable handle allows access to hard-to-reach valves
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

couldn't use it. - Fresh water systems

Not what I need for my RV. Didn't know when I bought it. This will help to use the RV models to use. I'll be keeping it in my tool box since I ordered it and maybe I'll find a use for it sometime in the future. In fact, it can be good for the compressor discharge valve.

Pros
  • Hollow handle allows water to flow to front of heater
Cons
  • Long shipping time

Good to Have - Caravan Parts & Accessories

Accessing the pet faucet on my RV's hot water tank is a little tricky. It is located behind the gas pipe of the heater. This will make opening the valve much easier. I would give 5 stars but the tool is plastic. I was expecting metal because it was Camco. Time will tell if it holds up.

Pros
  • NOTE. Please read the user manual before use.
Cons
  • Unnecessary Features

It works, but only the PVC pipe is painted silver.

Works properly. But it's just a few pieces of PVC pipe glued together and painted silver to make you think it's metal. It is not. If you're willing enough to service your own water heater, you'll be willing enough to build it yourself and make it out of a piece of EMT or something permanent. After just one use, I noticed significant distortions in the recesses.

Pros
  • Fits drain cock on Suburban and Atwood water heaters
Cons
  • Appearance
