💩 Camco 39481 Revolution Bayonet Fitting: Easy Installation and Reliable Waste Disposal Solution Review

Perfect replacement for camco trailer drain hose. The original clamp had one of the "bayonets" broken and it was very easy to put it on the hose.

I used pliers to tighten the clamp that came with it, but it still came loose. I almost had an RV the Movie moment. The flange that goes into the hose is not long enough to provide a good grip. In the end I cleaned it up really well and cleaned the drain hose and then used some E6000 glue (gel) to stick the hose on. Then I fastened it with a clamp.

Ideal of course for a tube that came from the dealer without ends. I still like the RhinoFlex better because it doesn't have auto hose clamps, which avoids the possibility of cutting yourself when handling awkward things. This plug is easy to install and looks like durable good quality plastic.

At first I thought my waste water hose would never fit on this fitting. It was too narrow for even the narrower tapered end to get into the hose. I was ready to give up when I found great installation advice online. What you have to do is soak the last inch or two of your sewer hose in very hot water for about 30 seconds and it will magically expand! After soaking, my hose slides easily onto the fitting. Wonderful!
