🚽 Efficient RV Waste Management: Camco Black 39551 Complete RV Sewer Kit Unveiled Review

I was very disappointed with the quality of this product. I used it once and will not use it again. Cheap design. Not suitable for the intended purpose. Replacement with another product that I have not received yet but hope it fits better. Camco products generally seem to be of lower quality over the years.

As several other reviewers have said. This product is cheap and the connection to the camper is loose. I have to hold it in place or it will leak. Not exactly what I want to do when emptying the black water tank. I've always had success with CAMCO products, but I would stay away from this one. Spend a little more and get something else.

I liked the price of this drain hose but quickly realized I should have spent the extra money to buy something better. Leak around the van's socket connection. The first time, every time. It just doesn't fit the intersection. You have to spend a lot of time and effort to spray the soil with water after each smelly use. I will buy another brand if I can afford it.

I liked all the necessary attachments, but a few things bothered me. The built-in hitch does not fit in the trunk of my rear bumper and is not removable. It's not as flexible as you might think with a 10ft hose as it was quite difficult to stretch it to 10ft. I can say the weather was a bit chilly but we had camping in South Dakota those days so they weren't the best choice for what I wanted.

They're good except when they're not. I am renting out my RV this summer and due to Covid I am buying every renter a new sewer hose. I chose this one because it's economical, but I've had to return 2 of the 4 I've bought so far. The bad ones don't have a rubber seal in the fitting that connects to the camper so the fit is very loose and I'm sure it will leak or tear if you open the valve. The rest was fine. I've also stretched it to the limit at 10ft, but short. I ended up buying a 10ft Rino Flex extension as I have a second gray water tank in the galley at the back of the bus.
