🏕️ Enhance RV Safety and Comfort with Camco 45191 Reflective Vent Cover Review

I ordered this to keep the sunlight out of the vent on the ceiling of our caravan. Works perfectly! Also, it was easy to install. In addition, the room becomes cooler in the summer. Haven't used our new trailer in other seasons yet. But I believe this product will help reduce the chill even in the winter months.

The vent cover didn't do what I thought it would. After installing them, I waited for the suggested time before attempting to remove them. The velcro didn't stick to the lid or the vent. The vent cover did not fit well in the opening. The gaps were visible and didn't keep warm air in. I don't recommend them. A big mistake on my part.

This thing is the keeper of my sweet dreams. :) The air vent above the bed in our Class A motorhome brightened the room at dawn. It made such a difference. Installation is very easy (wouldn't even call it that): stick velcro strips onto the vent cover, remove the adhesive and place over the vent where you want it ------ BAM, SWEET DREAMS!

These small and light things usually protect your house well from the sun. They seem a bit overpriced to me, so deduct 1 star. Note: It comes with very cheap velcro. So everyone in the camper knows that the 6am sun in your bedroom is no fun when you're trying to sleep. I found this by accident and decided to buy it. We have a 28ft hybrid camper with a skylight over the tub. Wanted to do this to protect from the heat of the sun in summer and to keep warm when camping in colder temperatures. The size was perfect and it came with sticky bits of velcro. The velcro doesn't seem to stick to my RV vent, even after a thorough cleaning prior to installation. The sticky velcro straps seem to stick to the vent cover much better, I will try to attach the velcro straps to my camper vent in the future. No complaints…
