Not worth the price

One of the accordion hinges broke on first use. The return window had already expired so I lived with it. After using it three times this season, it is unusable. Threw it in the recycler after my last ride. Went back to plastic. They only last about 2 years or so but are still better than 3 rides.

Pros
  • An absolute legend

Keep it lubricated or it will break easily

I wanted to like it, seemed like a great idea. Aluminum is stronger than plastic, this sewer hose bracket should last forever, right? nope Broken in several places after 1 year of use. I suspect it needed lubrication at the joints as the joints seem like weak points. Will be replaced with a plastic sewer hose mount as they seem to last longer.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing

Good, but. good for RV parts and accessories

Good product (aluminum version). However, DO NOT attempt to upgrade a specific part of this device without upgrading the device as a whole. To make it even clearer, only pull on the black handles, DO NOT try to "extend one end only". You bend yours just like I just bent mine. Okay, learning experience, and this thing is light years better than the plastic ones. It's time to order a short fitting (my camper has two tubes). Agree, the plastic ones are terrible.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some bugs

Looked strong but broke easily

LOOKS VERY STRONG THEN IT BROKE AT THE RIVET POINTS ON BOTH SIDES AFTER ONLY 2 USES. GOOD WEIGHT, EXPANDS AND FOLDS WELL WITH GOOD HANDLES AND THE BANDAGE HOLDS WELL. IT IS REALLY TALL (13 INCHES) AT THE HIGH END AND ONLY REDUCES ABOUT 2 INCHES WHEN EXTENDED. IT WAS TOO HIGH TO GET UNDER MY CLASS A RV EXIT. REALLY LOVE THE CONCEPT AND I HOPED FOR A QUALITY ALTERNATIVE TO PLASTIC BODY BUT THIS EASY TO BREAK AFTER ONLY 2 USES IS STILL QUALITY OR ACCEPTABLE SPECIALLY AT $54. HOPE TO COME BACK FROM

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Security

Confound. Its length is only about 8 feet.

Only about 8 feet long. Do not be fooled. The front of the box says a huge "15ft" but the fine print around it says "fits 15ft hose". Also, it may be too high for your setup. It's about 9.5 inches tall where the tubing meets the top end. The model number is 40353 if you want to find it online. They spent a lot of money on pretty pictures on the box. I wonder why they don't include honest specs. But it seems to be of good quality. There is a lifetime guarantee on the packaging.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Forget cheap plastic channel supports. This aluminum support is much better.

I have a 42ft RV. I reluctantly paid about $58 for this aluminum when my original cheap plastic block broke. When it arrived and I installed it, I was happy with it for over $58. This is a one piece expandable brace that extends from a 1 foot pack size to a full 15 feet at a downward angle for my long home on wheels. The plastic hose clamps could be improved but I'll replace them with some small ratchet straps. Again, I'm really impressed with the quality and functionality of this device.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Negative is present

Works well for van parts and accessories

I replaced a collapsible plastic model that probably never worked properly and broke a couple of times so I strongly recommend not buying it. I think this one costs a lot more than I think it's worth, but I've tried it, it works really well. The straps holding the handset in the device seem useless, not very easy to use. I bought a longer one that should go 15ft, it seems to go that far and is working pretty well at the moment. I would recommend it if you don't mind spending that kind of money,

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
